IPSA International Appoints Former Senior Executive From GE Money as Chief Operating Officer

Washington - D.C., September, 18 2008 – IPSA International, Inc. (IPSA), an international risk advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Greg Regan has joined as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the company. In this role, Mr. Regan will be responsible for directing and overseeing all domestic and international operating activities to ensure the firm’s strategic direction and objectives are being met.

After serving twenty years and retiring from the U.S. Secret Service, Mr. Regan joined GE Capital Corporation, a part of the General Electric Corporation, as the Director of Global Security. Upon dissolution of GE Capital Corp., Greg moved over to GE Consumer Finance as a VP for Fraud Prevention and the Director of Global Security. In April 2006, he was appointed Senior Vice President for Fraud Management for GE Money reporting directly to the CEO. During his distinguished career at GE, Mr. Regan was responsible for implementing a business-wide fraud management program that conducted fraud and loss assessments in each of GE Money’s 104 businesses throughout 54 countries. His efforts resulted in annual recoveries in excess of $80 million dollars.

During his tenure with the Secret Service, Mr. Regan held a myriad of managerial roles, including the Special Agent in Charge of Financial Crimes Division where he was responsible for the direction of felony investigations involving currency, credit cards, bank fraud and money laundering on a global scale. Greg completed his career with the U. S. Secret Service as the Deputy Assistant Director for the Office of Inspection where he was responsible for conducting efficiency reviews of all operational entities within the Secret Service to include: investigations, protection and intelligence.

“As we continue our aggressive international growth plans, it is critical that we ensure consistent service to our clients and successful execution of our strategies. The addition of Greg as our Chief Operating Officer should accomplish both objectives,” said Dan Wachtler, IPSA’s President & CEO. “Greg’s background is a unique combination of subject matter expertise, business acumen and process management that will serve IPSA and our clients well.”

Mr. Regan commented, “I am very excited about joining such an outstanding group of professionals at IPSA International. I believe the depth of experience within IPSA, both domestic and international, make it a leader in enterprise-wide, operational risk consulting. IPSA’s cadre of expertise in AML/regulatory functions, investigations and fraud/loss management make it a unique asset for the financial industry to maximize their profitability while mitigating their losses and regulatory exposure.”
