Richard Lefler, Former Chief Security Officer for American Express, Joins IPSA’S Board of Advisors

Phoenix, Arizona, August 26, 2008 – IPSA International, Inc., (IPSA) an international investigative consulting firm, is pleased to announce Richard Lefler has joined the firm’s recently created Board of Advisors.

Mr. Lefler retired from American Express in 2001 as Vice-President-Worldwide Security. In this role, his responsibilities included investigation of attacks on financial products, management for the security of employees and coordination with Federal, State and various foreign police agencies and other areas in which security concerns existed. Prior to joining American Express, Mr. Lefler served over 20 years with the U.S. Secret Service retiring as Deputy Special Agent in Charge of the Secret Service office in New York.

“I have known Dick for some time now and have always appreciated his industry insight and approach to business challenges. He brings to us law enforcement, private sector and most recently, ‘think-tank’ experience which provide unique and incredibly valuable perspectives. IPSA will benefit greatly from Dick’s input and we are very lucky to have him associated with our firm,” said Dan Wachtler, IPSA’s President & CEO.

Mr. Lefler is currently a Partner of the Business Security Advisory Group (BSAG), a firm specializing in corporate security consulting services. He is the former President of the International Security Management Association and served for several years on the Board of Directors. Mr. Lefler was also a member and served on the Advisory Board for the International Association of Financial Crime Investigators.

The Board of Advisors is tasked with providing advice to IPSA’s leadership with respect to matters identified by the executive team including: the Company’s operating strategy and activities related to potential Company acquisitions and international expansion plans.
