ROBERT M. WEINER JOINS IPSA INTERNATIONAL INC. AS MANAGING DIRECTOR AND REGIONAL COUNSEL FOR THE NEW YORK OFFICE

New York, NY December 14, 2011 – IPSA International, Inc. (IPSA), an international risk advisory firm, is pleased to announce Robert M. Weiner, JD, CIPP has joined as Managing Director and Regional Counsel for the firm in New York. In this role, Mr. Weiner will be responsible for helping the firm build its Investigative Due Diligence practice with specific emphasis on the anti-bribery/corruption markets related to the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the UK Anti-Bribery Act.

Mr. Weiner comes to IPSA with over 20 years of investigative, legal and compliance related experience. His depth of knowledge and expertise includes directing multi-country FCPA third party due diligence assignments and investigations, conducting international enhanced due diligence investigations for financial institutions and developing and implementing anti-corruption policies and procedures consistent with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Previously, Mr. Weiner was a practicing attorney specializing in conducting legal and transactional due diligence for domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. He has assisted clients in complying with regulatory requirements and providing representation in formal legislative and adjudicatory proceedings and enforcement actions before federal and state regulatory agencies. In addition, as a Certified Information Privacy Professional, he has a strong understanding of the US privacy laws and regulations and the legal requirements for the transfer of sensitive personal data to and from the US, the EU and other international jurisdictions.
