IPSA International, Inc. Names Marc Cabrera Head of Miami/Latin America Office
MIAMI, September 2003 - IPSA International, Inc., a premier provider of risk mitigation and consulting services, today announced that it has named Marc A. Cabrera as Managing Director and head of its Miami /Latin America Regional office. Mr. Cabrera was previously Managing Director of Pinnacle Partners, a Miami-based investment banking and corporate advisory firm he co-founded in 1998 after having spent a decade with two prominent Wall Street firms in New York.
In his new role, Mr. Cabrera will lead IPSA's Miami office which serves the southeastern United States, Latin America and the Caribbean, overseeing client relations, and business development. He will also manage the firm's professional staff of investigative, research and risk consultants in Miami, which provide a wide range of consulting, investigative, protective and due diligence services to legal, financial and corporate clients.

At Pinnacle Partners, Mr. Cabrera, 38, was responsible for new business development, client management, transaction execution and general management duties.
Mr. Cabrera's primary role was as an advisor to several dozen publicly-traded and privately-held businesses based around the United States and in Europe regarding mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and business development and strategy. From 1994 to 1997, Mr. Cabrera was an Associate Director and Vice President in the Investment Banking Division of Bear Stearns in New York, where he was responsible for coverage of the firm's corporate healthcare clients. From 1988 to 1994, Mr. Cabrera was an investment banker in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Smith Barney in New York. Mr. Cabrera graduated as valedictorian from Babson College with degrees in Finance and Investments.
