IPSA International's Stuart Silver to Participate in Upcoming Legal Seminar on Corporate Internal Investigations
ATLANTA, GA, September 2, 2003 - IPSA International, Inc., a leading risk consulting firm announced today that Stuart B. Silver, Director of Investigations at the firm's Atlanta office, will participate in an upcoming legal seminar on Corporate Internal Investigations. The seminar, which is co-sponsored by The Institute for Continuing Legal Education in Georgia and the Corporate Counsel Law Section, State Bar of Georgia, is scheduled to be held on Friday, September 5th at the Sheraton Colony Square Hotel.
Mr. Silver will serve as a panelist during the 2:00 p.m. session, which is entitled: "FINDING OUT WHAT REALLY HAPPENED: INTERVIEWING INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL FACT WITNESSES AND ACCUSED EMPLOYEES AND OFFICERS"
Mr. Silver, a 23-year veteran at the FBI, has extensive experience handling complex investigations in the areas of industrial security, health care and government fraud, foreign counter intelligence, terrorism, interstate theft and government reservation crime, among others. While serving as Supervisory Special Agent for the FBI's Atlanta office, Mr. Silver developed the health care fraud program into one of the more successful operations at the Bureau. The squad he supervised conducted investigations that led to the conviction of a number of health care providers. For example, he played a key role in the successful investigation and prosecution of a significant portion of the Columbia/HCA case.
