IPSA INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT, DAN WACHTLER, JOINS THE ECONOMIC CRIME INSTITUTE'S BOARD OF ADVISORS

New York, NY, July 29, 2011 – IPSA International, Inc., (IPSA) an international investigative consulting firm, is pleased to announce Dan Wachtler, IPSA President and CEO, has joined the Economic Crime Institute’s (ECI) Board of Advisors.

The Economic Crime Institute of Utica College was founded to support education and research in economic crime and information security and also to offer a reliable resource for innovative solutions to corporate, government and law enforcement entities. The program provides the Economic Crime Investigation and Management faculty of Utica College with support for the development of academic programs and enables a national forum for the exchange of ideas on economic crime and fraud management.

“I have known about and worked with the ECI over the years and am very proud to have been asked to join their Board of Advisors. The ECI and Utica College have always been at the forefront of issues related to economic crime. With a three-fold mission based on education, resources and innovation, I am thrilled to participate and can only hope to give as much as I expect to receive,” commented Mr. Wachtler.

The Board of Advisors has been extremely valuable in providing guidance to the Crime Institute’s curriculum including assisting with developing the Economic Crime Management Master’s Degree program. The Board’s financial support has also been instrumental in building a state-of-the-art computer laboratory at the college, as well as for print and non-print resources.

IPSA is a proud sponsor of the 22nd Annual Economic Crime Institute Annual Conference being held November 2-4, 2011 at the Bolger Center in Potomac, Maryland. The conference brings together leading experts in the field to share insights about the proliferation of fraud around the globe. This year’s conference features recognized experts who will focus on this global phenomenon, addressing risks posed by major events and scenarios; detailing responses by governments and corporations through prevention, detection, and investigation; and formulating remedies and solutions to various attack vectors.
