Dan Wachtler
President & CEO

Dan Wachtler was named President & CEO in April 2005 and subsequently led a management buy-out of IPSA International which closed November 1, 2005. Mr. Wachtler is a 14-year industry veteran who has served in both sales and operational management roles at IPSA and it's former parent company, American Protective Services (APS). He has held several executive management positions including Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Vice President of Domestic Operations.

Mr. Wachtler helped lead IPSA's transition from being a contract security/protection based service provider to a high-end investigative consulting company. During his tenure as head of marketing, he led IPSA’s re-branding effort and developed the five practice groups that remain the core of IPSA’s business.

Experience and Expertise

• Head of 400 person business unit for American Protective Services (APS).
• Led APS's growth in Silicon Valley resulting in a five year growth rate of nearly 75%.
• Assisted in transitioning IPSA from being a division of APS to an independent company.
• Managed numerous consulting projects including corporate security program development, international due diligence efforts and off-shore asset location projects.
